Where in the World Would You Most Like to Travel?

Recently, the Travel Section published the 52 Places to Go in 2017. From number one to number 52. From Canada to Ryukyu Islands, Japan.

I will take you through a rundown of five of the fifty-two places to go.

#1 Canada

Canada is huge! There’s probably so many places to travel and things to come! I’m putting it first on my own list on places to go!

  • Canada’s over 200 national parks are free to get into. Let’s go now! Gives national park lovers an excuse to head to Canada.
  • Plus, the exchange rates mean American travelers get more for their money! Yay! Canadians will probably see a lot of Americans there!

     #2 Atacama Desert, Chile

Judging by the picture, this desert looks like an exotic place to travel. It will definitely go on my list of places to see. The Atacama Desert is know as the world’s highest desert. There is ‘wind-carved duns and kaleidoscopic salt lakes’. Sounds interesting. But there is no way I am going to walk through the whole desert. Haha. I think this desert is pretty exotic and definitely speaks ‘travel’ to me. So for the number two pick, I’ll give you a thumbs up!

Here we go:

#3 Agra, India

That picture is absolutely stunning! It seems like India  is rich in their culture; I can totally see so many elements of culture in this photo. It says ‘2017 also promises new reasons to venture beyond’. What they mean is that in Agra, India there will be more things to see besides the Taj Mahal. Honestly, I was really surprised that they said it. The Taj Mahal is one of the wonders of the world. The article states that they have done some remodeling in the surronding areas, a new dinning complex, and better transportation. I want to go!

#4 Zematt, Switzerland

Oops, there is no picture but if you go on the New York Time’s website there’s a 360 degree video that you can watch. I watched the video, it is amazing and totally worth it to watch. Although, sadly it is not the same as being there.Honestly, it is spectacular about all the places we can bring to people through a click of a button. The climate is cold, it would be nice to get out of the humidity of Bangkok for a while. It seems like a great way to spend your time in Switzerland. It says there is ‘a permanent open-air theater’ that has performances of ‘Romeo and Juliet on Gornergrat’. So if you want a break from the heat, this place should be at the top of your list. I agree that Zematt should be at number four.

Last but not least is……………………

#5 Botswana

Wow! You can’t go to Africa without seeing wildlife. So this would be at the top of my places to go in Africa for sure! I would love to go here!

As I look down the 52 Places to Go in 2017 List, I found surprising:

  • #7 Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming

It is on this list because the U.S.’s first solar eclipse in 38 years will happen here and everyone will want to travel to there!

  • #9 Detroit, Michigan

Detroit!! Wow!!

  • #12 Greenville, South Carolina
  • Greenville! East coast!!

#26 Kazakhastan

    Interesting choice….

    • #30 Chiang Mai, Thailand

I’ve been there! At least I’ve been to one of the places on the list! Hahahahahahaha!

    • #31 Napa Valley, California

I’ve been to California but not Napa Valley. I should go!

    • #33 Sedona, Arizona

If your a desert lover, it is perfect for you. But also make sure to check out the Grand Canyon, too. LOL.

    • #38 Antequera, Spain

    • #40 Ibera Wetlands, Argentina

Again, perfect for national park lovers.

    • #45 Birmingham, Alabama

Perfect for the beer lovers out there.

That wraps up my take on the Top 52 Places to Visit in 2017.
